General Summary

The Community Education Area Manager is the face of Calvert Home Health's image to the communities we serve. Each Area Manager is responsible for communicating Calvert Home Health & Hospice mission, vision, and values to the medical community by building trust, relationships and working to continually identify customers’ needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan and implement activities that will generate appropriate patient admissions from customers to meet or exceed all growth and development targets.
  • Actively establish and maintain market awareness per corporate direction and philosophy.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all A, B & C rated referral sources, including physicians, nursing homes, SNF’s, assisted living facilities and hospital personnel.
  • Maintain all associated customer data records, keeping contact information and resource requirements accurate and up to date about specific customer needs.
  • Is a good steward of Community Education Resources and operates within budgetary guidelines.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years of successful sales experience.
  • Proven experience working within a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing preferred
  • Excellent communication skills.
